1982 Dr. Helmut Katschnig, Specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, opened the Dialysis Institute in Judenburg. At the time, the treatment options for chronic kidney patients were still in their early stages.
In 1985, the dialysis institute was rebuilt with treatment capacity for 20 patients. In the following years, the dialysis institute was expanded and modernized again and again to offer patients a comfortable environment during their therapy.
In January 2000, the dialysis station in Mödling was approved by the Government of Lower Austria and put into operation.
Today, there are 37 dialysis spaces in our institutes.
